The Federal Emergency Management Agency
by Michael Tivana ... 11-03-01

Once invoked by the president, emergency powers are directed by the National Security Council and administered, where appropriate, under the general umbrella of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

Here is a partial list of executive orders that authorize the president to do the following at his discretion:

Executive Orders:

  • 10995: Right to seize all communications media in the United States.
  • 10997: Right to seize all electric power, fuels and minerals, both public and private.
  • 10999: Right to seize all means of transportation, including personal vehicles of any kind and total control of highways, seaports and waterways.
  • 11000: Right to seize any and all American people and divide up families in order to create work forces to be transferred to any place the gov. sees fit.
  • 11001: Right to seize all health, education and welfare facilities, both public and private.
  • 11002: Right to force registration of all men, women and children in the United States.
  • 11003: Right to seize all air space, airports and aircraft.
  • 11004: Right to seize all housing and finance authorities in order to establish "Relocation Designated Areas" and to force abandonment of areas classified as "unsafe".
  • 11005: Right to seize all railroads, inland waterways, and storage facilities, both public and private.
  • 11921: Authorizes plans to establish government control of wages and salaries, credit and the flow of money in U.S. financial institutions.

About Executive Orders - Presidential Decision Directives, Presidential Proclamations, Presidential Declarations and Treaties are considered executive orders when they are instituted by the President without the authority or approval of Congress. Unfortunately many of these orders are secretive and some have been withheld and even removed from the federal register. Others are only published in part. For example, in the case of Clinton's PDD # 25, even members of the Congress and Senate have been denied access to it's complete text. This is the order that places the U.S. Military under United Nations authority.

These orders place unprecedented authority at the president's disposal, that he can enforce during a national crises. He can declare a national crises or emergency for any reason he deems necessary, whether the American people or congress like it or not. These orders give the president the powers of an absolute dictator and the right to practice total tyranny over the population of this nation. He would have complete control of the armed services to enforce these E.O.'s. With Bush declaring that we are in a national state of emergency for an indefinite period of time, this would make the president of the US the most powerful human being in the history of the world.
Do you TRUST BUSH?

William J. Olson, specializes in constitutional issues, is co-author of "Executive Orders and National Emergencies: Presidential Power Grab Nearly Unchecked" says, "Once a national emergency is declared, presidents use executive orders to exercise emergency powers."
"Presidents assert ... emergency powers without any statutory or constitutional authority. So long as the definition (and declaration) of a national emergency remains at the unbridled discretion of a president – with the Congress and the courts granting extensive, perhaps comprehensive authority to presidents whenever a national emergency is declared – Americans enjoy little protection from the prospect of oppressive, dictatorial government."

Bush has declared that we are living in a National State of Emergency indefinitely. We see the exercising of some of the orders with new ones being made at an alarming rate. These include:

  • The Military Tribunal to prosecute foreign terrorists and those that harbor them.
  • restricted travel as seen on Nov. 02 - "Green Party USA Coordinator Detained At Airport Prevented By Armed Military From Flying To Greens Meeting In Chicago"
  • President Bush issuing a new executive order taking away the public's right to see the records of past presidents

These executive orders collaberate with the new US PATRIOT ACT including the broadening of the definition of terroism to include political dissent. These abominations of the core principles of our great nation must be a signal that we the people can no longer afford to be apolitical. GET ACTIVE, be aware, see what's going on and coming down.
