This project is still ongoing and was first revealed to the public when Italian Prime Minister Giulio Andreotti admitted on October 24, 1990, before the "Camera dei deputati" the existence of "Operazione Gladio". He revealed this NATO/CIA operation as a secret anti-communist structure involved in Italy's strategia della tensione (strategy of tension). This is the simple strategy of carrying out terrorist acts upon the countries of NATO to gain permission from the people to wage the cold war. According to Andreotti the right wing Italian government created the Red Brigade, a notorious leftist gang that blew up Italy in the 1970's as a part of operation Gladio.To this day most of the world still believes there was a red brigade attempting to tear down the government.
Gladio, from the Latin “sword”, is protected and hidden from public view by its founding patrons, the CIA
and the UK’s
MI6. Yet parliamentary investigations in Italy, Switzerland and Belgium have exposed enough of the truth to show that terrorist attacks by a government on its own people, is possible, probable and ongoing. These attacks have been gathered in a book, “NATO’s Secret Armies: Operation
Gladio and Terrorism in Western Europe,” by Daniele Ganser.

In the Pentagon document, Field Manual FM 30-31B, the world
can see the way the Pentagon thinks on such matters as using terrorism to gain
control of the minds of the citizenry. The document details the methodology for
launching terrorist attacks in nations that “do not react with sufficient
effectiveness” against “communist subversion.” The manual states that the
most dangerous moment comes when leftist groups “renounce the use of force” and
embrace the democratic process. It is then that “U.S. army intelligence
must have the means of launching special operations which will convince Host
Country Governments and public opinion of the reality of the insurgent danger.”
In Iraq the Pentagon has launched a similar plan through a new
militant group, “Saraya Iraqna,” a pro-occupation death squad that has
began offering up to $50,000 USD for insurgent scalps, according to the Iraqi
paper Al Ittihad. The group states, “Our activity will not be selective,”
meaning anyone they consider an enemy of the state will be fair game. Does this
include mosques and markets?
The majority of the candidates that were
elected to the Iraqi national congress support a speedy end to the American
occupation. But now the shift toward high-profile civilian slaughter and the
labeling of the terrorist acts as a Civil War has strengthened the “urgent
need” for U.S.
forces to remain on the scene indefinitely to provide security.
Cui bono? Who benefits? Whose powers and policies are
enhanced by these attacks? It is indisputable that the “strategy of tension”
means power and profit for those who claim to possess the key to “security.”
From the halls of Europe to the banks of the Potomac, this cynical strategy is the ruling ideology of our
times. The citizens of the world must be made aware of synthetic, self induced
terrorism, and the people must end this policy before it ends us.
Will the people of the world allow the War On Terror to
spread? This war is not winnable and it will only create hell on Earth. If the
US or Israel attacks Syria and Iran it is entirely possible for oil to surge to
$150 a barrel and the world will erupt into chaos. The creed for the designers
of our world is “Order From Chaos”. They create the chaos and give us their New
World Order, run by their World Government, controlled by their new global
currency.
Getting the world to get rid of all their weapons of mass
destruction is a good thing. However, getting rid of these weapons by using
them in a war is a bad thing. Pursuing peace by turning our world into a system
that oppresses human rights run by an obscene totalitarian government is not my
first choice for a peaceful New World. My first choice is pursuing peace by dislodging the ages
old establishment from power and allowing the people to run their lives
according to their own human conscience.

Gingrich Says World War
III Has Begun
World War III has begun, and the nation’s leadership is failing to deal with
this reality, former House of Representatives Speaker Newt Gingrich concludes.
Appearing on NBC’s Meet the Press with Tim Russert Sunday, Gingrich
explained that "today is not the fifth day of the war, it’s the 58th year
of the effort by those who want to destroy Israel. As Ahmadinejad, the head of Iran,
says, he wants to defeat the Americans and eliminate Israel from the face of
the earth. So we should not see this event in isolation. There is an ...
Iran/Syria, Hezbollah and Hamas alliance trying to destroy Israel.”
". . . the Israelis withdrew from Gaza to create the circumstance of
peace. The Israelis withdrew from south Lebanon to create the circumstance of
peace,” Gingrich continued. "They now have a thousand missiles fired from Gaza,
they’ve had hundreds of missiles fired from south Lebanon. You clearly have
Iranian involvement. There are at least 400 Iranian guards in south Lebanon.
Apparently it was an Iranian missile fired by Iranians which hit an Israeli
warship yesterday. The United States should be saying to Syria and Iran, 'South
Lebanon is going to be cleared out. We are for Israel and the Lebanese
government breaking the back of Hezbollah, getting rid of all 10,000 to 13,000
missiles, and we will decisively stop any effort by Syria and Iran to
intervene.'”
Gingrich says the current crisis facing Israel is part of a larger world war
that involved the U.S.
"I mean, this is absolutely a question of the survival of Israel, but
it’s also a question of what is really a world war,” Gingrich said.
He then cited a litany of events that confirm this conclusion.
"North Korea firing missiles. We say there’ll be consequences, there
are none. North Koreans fire seven missiles on our Fourth of July; bombs going
off in Mumbai, India; a war in Afghanistan with sanctuaries in Pakistan … the
Iran/Syria/Hamas/Hezbollah alliance.”
In addition, he said "there is the war in Iraq funded largely from Saudi
Arabia and supplied largely from Syria and Iran.”
Other evidence of the war,
Gingrich argues, includes:
· The British home secretary saying that there are 20
terrorist groups with 1200 terrorists in Britain.
· Seven people in Miami videotaped pledging allegiance to al-Qaeda
· Eighteen people in Canada being picked up with twice the explosives that were used
in Oklahoma City, with an explicit threat to bomb the Canadian parliament,
and saying they’d like to behead the Canadian prime minister.
· In New York City, reports that in three different
countries people were plotting to destroy the tunnels of New York.
Gingrich explained: "We are in the early stages of what I would
describe as the third world war, and frankly, our bureaucracies aren’t
responding fast enough. We don’t have the right attitude about this . . . And
frankly, the Israelis have every right to insist that every single missile
leave south Lebanon and that the United States ought to be helping the Lebanese
government have the strength to eliminate Hezbollah as a military force, not as
a political force in the parliament, but as a military force in south Lebanon.”
Asked host Tim Russert "This is World War III?”
"I believe if you take all the countries I just listed, that you’ve
been covering, put them on a map, look at all the different connectivity, you’d
have to say to yourself this is, in fact, World War III,” Gingrich said.
