The funding Lott was blocking was for $1.8 million. The US government spent $70 million on the Monica Lewinsky project - the greatest act of felatio since Anthony & Cleopatra. SO whats the difference? One is an act of love and the other an act of war. Attack love and let the war games begin is what it tells me.
Then Mr. Kissinger gets put in charge of heading the 9/11 investigation. The same time the movie - "The Trials of Henry Kissinger" was out. Bad timing, he lasted about two weeks. Then they put the illutrious out of work Washington Senator, Slade Gorden on the committee. They now have to wait for him to get security clearance. This is taking another year until January 2004 until they can begin their investigation.
The preliminary investigations are reaching some off base conclusions, like the bolts that hold up the behemoth towers were too small. I am sure the investigation will focus on the hi-jackers; four of which have been proven to be in another country at the time and are still alive today. Will we ever see that in our news? The official story will focus on why they hate us, which is they are jealous of our prosperity and that we are now the #1 empire and not the Arabs, which were at one time the rulers of the world. This isn't why they hate us, they don't hate us at all, the people that want to start a war to reconfigure the Middle East want us to think so.
"Get educated", the right wingers tell me. "You have to dig a little deeper", the man on the street told me. "You see the Koran, the Muslim Holy Bible tells them to kill us, thats the problem."
And I think, yeah thats the problem. These people beleive in the shallowest of explanations because that is what the pablam looks like for the dumbed down masses. The media can make up whatever they want and the people just chew on bad cud believing it because they have to believe in something to keep sane.
Of all the theories out there, I have to go with the assertion that the towers were demolitioned, set up before hand to blow up; for these reasons: the firemen on their way out of the building heard explosions going off. Link 1 The same company that hauled off the rubble from the Murrah Building in Oklahoma hauled away the rubble from the 9/11 towers. The name of the company is Controlled Demolition, Inc. I think the powers that be in our government have done everything they can to get rid of the scrap materials as fast as possible with little or no investigation of the eveidence. I hate to be the one that shatters your faith in the US government but these guys are criminals and not worthy of the public trust.
Meanwhile I feel my liberty, my country slipping away as the fear translates into an excuse to give up our rights. YIKES! How far away are we from declaring protestors are terrorists? Oh you say they are already being labled terrorists? Well then how long will it be before they detain AMericans and lock them up and throw away the key? Oh they already are and some of them are labeled enemy combatants? I don't know how it could get any worse and then I read the PAtriot Act II. Civil rights are becoming a lost concept - Protest while you can.....
